Historic Print #51: Tipton Brothers Deuce (1947)

Brothers Archie and Wayne Tipton both raced at the dry lakes before hitting the big time in the California Roadster Association with their Track Roadsters. This re-build shot of their home brewed Deuce was taken in 1947 in their driveway that was across the street from the Silver Lake Reservoir in Los Angeles. Note some of the hardware sitting on the cowl.
